Big Spin - Blue Murrine Rig

The Big Spin rig is unique because it's not made from borosilicate glass, like the rest of our collection. Big Spin is an artist who works with soft glass, also known as soda-lime glass, which is a different type of medium due to it's relatively low softening point. It also isn't made on the torch, but in a furnace. Soft glass pieces tend to be heavier in weight, which you will feel in this rig! The furnace dipped glass piece is a transparent Blue with black bands around the neck, joint, and sandwiching the thick murrini mid-section. You'll be able to feel the murrini section's texture on every tile of the pattern. You'll see a matching encased murrini on the lower back of the pipe as well. The downstem is removeable with a matching Black color.
